Tan Min Er


 

 

Originally from Johor, Malaysia, Coach Tan Min Er is a former national-level player and badminton coach. Fluent in Chinese, English, and Malay, she creates a supportive and structured training environment for players of all levels.


An alumna of Bukit Jalil Sports School (2014–2018), Min Er brings strong competitive experience, with multiple national titles and podium finishes across MSSM, Purple League, and National Junior Championships. Her coaching focuses on fundamentals, discipline, and skill progression.


Achievements:

  • 2015: Champion in Women's Double at MSSM.
  • 2016: Champion at Purple League.
  • 2017: Champion in Mixed Double at MSSM.
  • 2017: Semi-finalist in Women's Singles at MSSM.
  • 2017: Women's Singles Champion at Grand Prix Final National Junior.
  • 2018: Semi-finalist at Purple League.
  • 2018: Runner-up in Women's Singles at Victor National Under 18 Championship 1st & 2nd Leg.
  • 2019: Semi-finalist at Purple League.
  • 2019: Semi-finalist in Women's Singles at Victor National Under 18 Championship.
  • 2019: Contributed to 2nd Runner-up position at BAM National Interstate Under 18 Mixed Team Championship.
  • 2019: 1st Runner-up in National Under 21 Leg (Perak).

Credentials:

  • NROC Level 1 certified.
  • Proficient in VALUES & PRINCIPLES IN SPORT.
  • Equipped with Standard First Aid training.
